Brodies

Following the trend for self-help online tools, Brodies developed the BResourceFull Workbox. This is an innovative, easy-to-use online product which provides comprehensive, practical advice on employment law and tools for HR managers all backed up by legal services. The content is structured according to everyday HR practice and offers easy-to-understand guidance, only referring to legislation and case law where necessary. There are over 200 templates that depart from the traditional legal style by using simple, accessible language and the content is continuously updated by Brodies to ensure that materials and links to external resources are relevant and accurate.

Brodies demonstrated that their application had a clear strategic objective in addressing a key increasing concern of the legal market: to address client demands for transparent and predictable legal costs. Furthermore, they were able to show that their project had a clearly identifiable cost benefit as well as having a significant impact on client satisfaction.

Bird & Bird

Bird & Bird identified that clients want greater visibility from all law firms in their matter management reporting. The Matter Manager toolkit is a set of simple, consistently branded, user-friendly templates for budget breakdowns, project plans, and progress reports, etc. standardised across the firm to address this in line with clients’ needs. A consistent look and feel during implementation internationally has in part been achieved by using a client reporting toolbar, developed in house, further helping Bird & Bird’s management reports to stand out from its competitors.
