Trowers & Hamlins have shown in their submission that they have organised and planned a new business development environment to make a significant ‘leap’ forwards in working practices and related CRM systems. Clearly organised as a business project, as opposed to a ‘system implementation’, the project was management led and had well-articulated business objectives. This included engaging the firm’s staff in solving the biggest problem of any CRM system; how to keep the data in it alive by sharing the responsibility to maintain and update the information. Supporting evidence demonstrated the ways in which this project has allowed them to transform their business development environment for the better.
