Now in its 26th year, the 2020 survey was completed by just under 200 of the top 250 law firms over the summer.  Findings include:

  • the pandemic appears to be widening the gap between firms, with some under real pressure;
  • those that have invested in technology, managed lock-up successfully and are in the right areas are likely to steal a march;
  • others may be regretting they didn’t do more to build resilience into their businesses when times were good.
