Measuring impact and driving change through B Corp status
B Corp certification confirms that a firm is purpose-driven and creates benefit for all its stakeholders. It enables firms to understand their impact on people and the planet, and to drive change.
With more clients thinking about the credentials of their suppliers, greater scrutiny over your firm’s impact is inevitable. Investors are looking deeper into the firms that they invest in, and a firm’s environmental and social strategy is often as important as the financial package in the war for talent.
B Corp is viewed as the global gold standard. So we will hear from a panel of three B Corp firms about their strategies and successes, and why they chose to become a B Corp. Issues to be explored by the distinguished panel include:
- What is needed to become a B Corp?
- Is constant improvement achievable?
- What are the red lines that a firm needs to explore when considering B Corp status?
- How does B Corp status impact client and referrer relationships?
Panel conversations will be followed by a wider discussion under the Chatham House rule.
