2019 winner

Osborne Clarke

Osborne Clarke stood out with its holistic approach to creating a motivational and functional culture that enables its people and serves clients. It has converted abstract values such as diversity, equality, work/life balance, transparency and community care into embedded practices and behaviour. These in turn contribute to the client experience and commercial success. Glassdoor comments and the Roll on Friday award reflect the positive impact of its ‘culture is king’ attitude.

2nd place

Xinfu

Whereas it is easier to create a powerful coherent culture in a small firm, we felt Xinfu was exceptional. It is described as a “high trust culture centred around fellowship” – both for clients and for staff and associates. The culture is encapsulated in five words/phrases beginning with “F” – one of which is “Freshly Baking” – the constant iteration by all employees of their purpose and service levels. Reviews of the culture on Glassdoor are very positive; its website oozes excitement and its client list is very impressive.
