2015 winner

Grant Thornton International

Since 2008, GTI have run their AMP programme which targets rapid development of senior managers. In the intervening years 292 participants across 43 member firms have successfully graduated from AMP and the strength of the programme continues.

The programme is closely linked to the core values and strategy of the firm and runs on a modular basis, taking participants to Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. A comprehensive curriculum delights participants and makes the firm more able to serve the needs of its clients.

The judges were impressed with the rigour, detail and inclusiveness of the programme which sets it apart as this year’s winner.

2nd place

DWF

This year DWF has launched the ‘DWF Academy’, a suite of tailored development programmes accessible via a bespoke website enabling 24/7 access so all of DWF’s people can learn at a time and in a place which suits them. Simultaneously DWF has launched its ‘Expectations Framework’ a new performance development and measurement tool designed to more effectively recognise, reward and further develop contributions to DWF’s business success.

The judges were impressed with the comprehensive nature of the Academy offering and the understanding the firm has shown in catering for different learning styles among its employees. The firm has also made manifest the link between development and performance and deserves to be congratulated on its initiative.
