The BDO Leadership Team had vast knowledge of their market and their business and despite the challenges developed a financially strong businesses which grew from £275m to over £400m and profits from £50m to £80m. The team ensured there was an ongoing focus on entrepreneurial fast-growth businesses, they completed a significant market leading merger and saw the business become market leader for Exceptional Client Service for four years to 2015/6. BDO was also a top graduate employer, expanded internationally and began its digital transformation journey. And most importantly the firm’s long held Values still significantly underpin the organisations culture as it was transitioned to a new Leadership Team late last year.
